What these terms cover
These terms of service cover your use of the Fantoss website (this site), the Fantoss app (Android, iOS and the APK mirror), the editorial newsletter and any paid contest you enter. The terms are written in plain English; the legal version is published in the help section. By signing in to Fantoss or using the editorial website, you agree to these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is published on this page with the last-updated date at the top.
You may not scrape the editorial content or the contest data for republication without attribution. The desk takes republication seriously and pursues violations through the dispute resolution forum.
You may not use Fantoss to harass other players, the editorial desk or the customer-care team. The desk reserves the right to suspend accounts that breach the community guidelines.
Unclaimed balances are held for 7 working days after account deletion. After 7 working days, unclaimed balances are forfeited.
If a contest is reduced to a specific number of overs, the scoring engine applies the published format-specific tweaks. The brief is updated within 30 minutes of the announcement.
You may not use Fantoss for any illegal purpose, including money laundering, fraud or match-fixing. The desk cooperates with law enforcement and may suspend accounts pending investigation.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
PAN name must match the bank account name and the UPI handle. A mismatch holds the withdrawal in manual review for 24–48 hours. Contact customer care with a name-change document to clear the review.
Entry fee is published inside the lobby for every contest. The fee is non-refundable once the lineup is locked. Lock is usually 5 minutes before the toss.
Editorial use
The Fantoss editorial website is free to read. We do not charge for editorial content and we do not require sign-in to read a piece. Editorial pieces are written by named staff; corrections are published within 24 hours.
You may republish a piece with attribution and a link back to the original URL. High-volume republication (news aggregators, cricket portals) requires a one-time written agreement — email [email protected].
Account eligibility
Fantoss accounts are 18+ only. The age verification uses the date of birth on the PAN. If the PAN is not yet issued, the desk asks for a school certificate or passport copy.
Paid contests are available to residents of states where paid fantasy cricket is legal. The wallet surfaces a state-restriction notice during deposit if your current state restricts paid contests.
Employees of Fantoss, the Self-Regulatory Body (SRB) and the BCCI are not eligible to enter paid contests. The restriction is enforced by the wallet and the desk.
